Each year, WHTQ brings John Boy & Billy into the Orlando market for Speedweek.  Speedweek is the kickoff of the NASCAR season featuring the Daytona 500.  During Speedweek, Central Florida is invaded by hundreds of thousands of NASCAR and John Boy & Billy fans.

WHTQ will start the John Boy & Billy Speedweek festivities by hosting their nationally syndicated show live from Walt Disney World on Thursday and Friday, February 12th and 13th. And on Thursday afternoon, we will move The Big Show to Sanford (part of the Orlando Metro area) for the 96.5 WHTQ Rock n’ Roll Racing Concert featuring Cheap Trick and Foghat.

This will be a ticketed, open-air concert.  Festivities will include beer, food, entertainment, and display areas designed to get listeners to the venue by 5pm.  The event will end around midnight.
